Check this mountain of junk out!!!

I really like it

It is the newest addition to the Charleston skyline. The looks awsome with the clay center behind it.

I'm sorry, but i hate it. I have to see it every morning as i pass going to the office. $900,000 price tag seems pretty extreme. It doesn't seem to blend in with the brick facade of the CC, and appears to be a broken down roller coaster from Camden Park.

Yes, indeed, over $900,000 is what the Clay Center shelled out for that from the artist.

I like it and although it is expensive the Clay Center didn't directly pay for it...the money for the sculpture was donated. As for the construction across the street, it will be a small park. I know because I asked my mother about it the last time I was in town.

I like it a lot. it's very nice piece of modern art, it creates a great ensemble with Clay center building.
