This is serious and I hope folks are paying attention.

My sister was on Old Mountain Road (Iredell Co) about 15 minutes ago, on her way to I-40. I was worried sick about her getting to I-40 b/f this storm hit. She could see what was coming to the west.

Please seek shelter if you are in the path of this storm.

From Exit 25 to 36 on I-77 - please pay attention.

I love these afternoon garden variety showers.
Sun is popping out now and I can turn the air back on

My hair is soaked, lol. I went outside to take down the umbrellas and cover the grill and smoker, get the cat in, turn the garbage can next to the grill upside down, etc. Got soaked but it was a really nice experience!

Strangely, the thunder is really booming now but the sun is out more than it has been for an hour.

I don't think we are gonna have a big event here in S. CLT but I just didn't want to take any chances since I had an umbrella ruined w/ a storm that caught me by surprise last year.

I could have stood around outside in the rain for a long time, except I started worrying about lightning. You just never know how lightning may travel. I heard a report that someone had been struck by lightning in Lincoln CO an hour or so ago.

Yeah I was on my lunch break when it rolled through. I was in my car at the boat landing at the end of Unity Church Road in Denver (near 73/16)

It was definitely one of the worst cells i've seen in a while. Couldnt even see the water from about 50ft away at one point.

Minimal rain here, no wind to speak of, and only lasted 30 minutes or so.
