Hello,
My family have bought some land in Fallston. We have family members in Kings Mnt. What is out here to do? We coming in November to work on our land and would like to do some site seeing. We're staying in Bessemer city and looking to check out some neat places in Charlotte.

Had to look at the map to see where Fallston is - it is about 1 hour from Charlotte. You might want to do a search on the forum for specific interests. It would be hard to say what to do without knowing your interests.

Well, I always like to recomend the Levine Museum of the New South - really interesting and helps you understand the history of Charlotte and the south. http://www.museumofthenewsouth.org/

And it's always fun to go whitewater rafting at the US National Whitewater Rafting Center just west of the city. http://www.usnwc.org/

The Kings Mountain National Military Park is great if you want to see some Revolutionary War history. http://www.nps.gov/kimo/index.htm

I can't think of a thing to do or see in Cherryville, lol, though there must be SOMETHING there?

In Hickory you can visit the furniture mart, people come from all over the country for that
