yesterday I had a visit to a local chiropractic clinic and had the hard sell technique. There were around 5 couples in there and was told that I am killing off my organs etc because I have pinched nerves in my spine. I was as worried as hell and signed an agreement to go ahead with the treatment. Of course once I got home and had a think - didn't sleep all night worrying about how I was going to pay for this treatment - I have decided to get another opinion (from another chiropractor actually) but I don't know how I stand on the signed financial agreement. Do you normally have 24 hours to think on something or am I tied into this. Thanks for any advice.

As far as I know even if you signed a treatment plan they can't make you pay for any treatment not provided to you. Did you already prepay for the treatment? (some offices have you pay for a certain number of visits ahead of time) If so, tell them you have changed your mind and you would like a refund.
