Did you mean Lela Ave in Wesley Heights?

Hmmmm...okay personally I wouldn't live there because it is still too rough around the edges. However, it is up and coming (more so than NoDa if you ask me) and people who are able to tolerate the risk sure have a great commute

I think they are. Wesley Heights is in transition. Kinda questinable right now...but I only see GREAT things about that area to come. There is gonna be a transit stop in Wesley Heights to go Uptown...plus you could even walk Uptown via 3rd Ward.

The time to get in is now. Once neighborhood turns around, it is not affordable for most people. I would be kinda leary to live there alone as a sinlge female though.

i might buy as an investment but i wouldn't rent there. Too many other, safer options.

Are you, by any chance, selling your house WesleyGuy? Wondering what the motivation is for bumping these old threads...

I live in Lela Court and have been here for 3 years now! These posts are a bunch of scared people. Over the past few years this place has changed so much. We are a nice little neighborhood with lots of friendly people where everyone watches out for their neighbors. AND NO I AM NOT SELLING MY HOUSE to bump up these threads...if I did have to sell it would be because of a job.

You do realize you responded to a 2.5 year old thread?

A lot can change in that time. I am glad you are happy in your home.
