I have to comment, and I may be flamed for this, but this board is way out of control as far as topics, especially compared to the other state boards. It's becoming hard to read. I guess a lot of it is due to the sheer number of posts compared to others, but still. If you can look up this board on the internet, you can use the internet to find answers to questions like above. There are also a lot of threads started that have absolutely nothing to do with North Carolina whatsoever, and probably belong in the general U.S. thread.

Oh well...there is my two cents.

Well, at least it's about entertainment in Union County, but I admit I did find the question odd. Kind of like asking if they have electricity in Asheville. It's not like North Carolina is located in a remote area of the Brazilian jungle.

P.S. Union County does have bowling alleys.

LOL, I wonder why some do not do google searches for something like that and IF they cannot find the answer, then ask the question...

Even the north carolina section of this forum is still way smaller and less active than any average established forum that I visit.

Because I just did google it and found the answer? <Grin> Also because this person is on another thread asking about starting a "snake wrangling" business in Waxhaw, for heaven's sake. People on that thread suspect that the poster is a troll.

No flames from me, in fact I tried to bump up your rep for your post, but I got a message saying I had to spread some around before I gave you any more. LOL! I agree that this board is getting really unwieldy. I'm not on any other city forums so I can't make a comparision there, but this one *is* getting increasingly difficult to read and follow, IMO, and I don't read a lot of the threads as it is.

Can I ask why you people have to be so rude? It's my first time on this site and had no idea the type of questions I could ask you smart *** people. I just wanted to know if there were any folks who wanted to talk about bowling. Thanks for all your help!
