We're also known for throwing NY Giant fans off of the 700 level at the old Vet. So yes Eagles fans are very proud of thier Team. Carlinina_guy thanks for the references.
No offense, but frankly us Carolina fans don't understand the nastiness of you Philly fans. Here, the Panthers games are largely family events, meaning you can bring your kids and they will not be subject to vulgarity, profanity or violence in the stands. The horror stories of the stuff that goes on at your games, and the way you treat the visiting fans is really disgusting. And you say ya'll are proud of that? Can you explain why, I'm really curious.

That's all "fine and dandy". Eagle Fan passion is due to our Eagles never winning a Superbowl. Actually none of our 4 major Teams haven't won a championship since the Sixers in 83 and the Phils is 80. The Panthers are a very good Team especially since they're newcomers to the NFL. That's cute that it's a family event. In Philly we're mainly blue collar passionate folks and sometimes we express ourselves a little "over the top" but hey we're all different right ? I think it's NASCAR that subdues Panthers Fans. Maybe if Philly had more of NASCAR we would behave better at NFL home games. Go PANTHERS !

Thanks for shedding some light, I have always wondered why the Philly fan act the way the do. Your point about maybe NASCAR being where our aggression goes is a good one. As for me, I sure hope our Panthers games continue to be family events

I'm sure they are. And I'll make sure I only go to Panthers versus any team but Eagles game. I'll watch the Panthers - Eagles game at home, lol. It would interesting to be at an NFL game without the violence.
