CMPD and Better Business Bureau Secure Your ID Events

9:00 am - 1:00 pm


'Secure Your ID Day' on Saturday, October 23, 2010, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at three locations in the Charlotte area.



We are partnering with the BBB to offer free shredding again this weekend.



THREE Locations:

St. Stephen Methodist Church parking lot, located at 6800 Sardis Road, Charlotte, N.C. 28270. Shred-It will have four trucks for on site shredding at this location. This location will also accept old cell phones for recycling.


Shred-It – 3421 Axar Road , Charlotte, N.C. 28208 (704-424-5997) off Mulberry Church Road between Billy Graham Parkway and Westport Road. Computer hard drives can be brought to this location only to be destroyed using a hard drive press.


Record Storage Systems - 14620 Carowind's Blvd., Charlotte, N.C. 28273. Take Carowind's Blvd. past Carowind's main entrance, turn right onto Pleasant Road and Record Storage Systems is in the second building.

It should be noted that there is a 3 bag / 3 box limit.

This is probably a dumb question....but why would I bring my papers here? Is it for people who don't own shredders already?
