we were interested in that has been on the market for a year and it's empty, when we sent over some questions they quick came back with a "there is a bid on the house" even though it wasn't mentioned either Saturday or Sunday when my husband spent the day house hunting and looked at it both days.

So the search continues ...

I do have a question too Barrington by Shea, already has houses for sale, can someone tell me how finished the sub is (dh did not get over there yet), is it almost finished, finished etc? We aren't building but wondered about the houses for sale in the neighborhood, if the subdivision isn't complete, and there were messages about it not being complete.

Thanks in advance!

Barrington is 50% built out, the total number of homes when complete will be 153. They have sold 6 homes in the last 5 weeks. Right now the avg. price is around 325k but you can build starting near 250k.

Ok so do you have an agent? If so and you love this house they should be able to get you all the answers you need. Then once you are ready have them write an OFFICIAL offer to present to the listing agent. At that point the listing agent is REQUIRED to give the offer to the seller whether that is an individual or a bank. They CANNOT decline passing on an offer unless they already have a written and signed statement from the seller stating they do not want to be shown any offers under XYZ circumstances. PM me if you have any questions, I'd be glad to help you!
