Hello, I busted the window of my 1995 Ford Econoline van a couple of months ago and wanted to find an inexpensive replacement for it. I went to the Pull-a-part yard on Tryon and the part I was looking for was also busted on the van there. Does anyone know of any other pull a parts or salvage yards that might carry this? Thanks!

You could just buy a piece of plexglass and cut it to fit for cheap .

I have definitely considered this. Plexiglass isn't as inexpensive as I thought it would be though. A new back window costs about $130...I may just break down and get one. Thanks for responding!

I had to replace a back window in my wife's Trooper not long ago and I found a good guy (through some research). I got the window replaced and installed for $160 total, where the dealership wanted to charge me over twice that.
Like your van, it was an older model that was hard to find. I mention this because this guy was resourceful and was able to find it where other glass companies couldn't.

I'll post his name, but I don't understand the full rules here of when it's ok to give a recommendation and when it's not, so if the high and mighty choose to edit this, feel free to PM and I'll pass his name along.

For the record, I do not work for this guy nor receive any kickback what so ever for mentioning him, he simply did a good job.

His company is B&C Auto Glass and his name is Bobby. 704 691 4742.

Good luck Pinkies, and like I said, if this gets edited feel free to contact me.

I meant to add that even if you didn't want him to install it, Bobby might be able to find you the piece of glass you need.
