I miss Ani's (anifani's) threads where people will list what they're doing on holidays/weekends...

I'll start.

Going to take the Cats/Train from Pineville to Uptown to see all the activities at First Night Charlotte w/my extended family later this afternoon! Even though its mainly for the kids, I think us adults will have a good time in the afternoon.....

Later going to a block party (indoors obv) that's been a tradition for several years now....I'm blessed that I have great neighbors.....the adults will put back a few beverages/catch up on all the local gossip and the kids will have a blast staying up later than they usually will.

Tomorrow will be mainly a sports on TV day.....tons of sports to choose from (college bowls/winter classic/etc).....

Gonna be fun!

Hangin' here at home. Getting the last bits of serious cleaning done before school starts up again (2 weeks! ). Watching the First Night/NYE specials on TV. nothing exciting!

Nothing. Too depressing to do stuff alone. Tomorrow will be just like any other normal Saturday.

We're going to dinner with some friends and hanging out at home with friends after. I'm too chicken to be out on the roads tonight.

Coupon, your tradition sounds fabulous!

We are heading out to dinner, then home to avoid people on the roads tonight. Plus, I have to keep an eye on the horses due to fireworks spooking them. A quiet evening home on a Friday is just what the doctor ordered.

Nothing special. Staying home with the family. They'll all be asleep way before midnight and I'll watch something really awful on tv (like an HGTV marathon, lol) until I can't stay awake anymore.
I'll say Happy New Year to everyone on Facebook at midnight and that'll be the extent of it.
Amazingly, I'm happy with these plans

Appetizers, drinks and games with the family. Then tomorrow we will eat the traditional pork roast and sauerkraut along with black eyed peas and collards.
I am looking forward to 2011!

Having dinner and a party with the neighbors tonight (a one-block walk, no driving) and then sleeping in tomorrow (maybe stumbling out to the Checkers game tomorrow afternoon).
