We are relocating from Boston down to Charlotte and looking in the Ballantyne and Providence areas of Charlotte. I've heard about the extensive traffic in the Providence neighborhoods back in 2008. Just wondering if that is still an issue. Also, I would love to hear if anyone has any other recommendations for a family friendly neighborhood.

Providence CC is a very nice neighborhood. I have some friends there and have not noticed heavy traffic myself. They have speed tables throughout the neighborhood which may have been added since 2008.
