Hello,

We are looking into relocating from out of state to Highland Creek on the Cabarrus County side. Since the subdivision includes different "neighborhoods" and I have seen from other posts that each has its own feel, I would love to get a rundown and opinion from people that live there.

If you are more comfortable sending me a direct message, please do.

TIA,

Laura

I live in Meck County, but love HC! If you have specific questions, send me a DM.

My favorite neighborhood on that side is Dominion Glen. They are well built with nice floor plans. There are tons of kids in that neighborhood. They start about 275,000. There are several other neighborhoods that are less expensive that are also nice.

I recently discovered Highland Creek. It is a very nice area with lots of amenities close at hand. It looks like a great place for families and those that want to live out of the center of town, yet close to things.

Great choice! I live on the Cabarrus County side of Highland Creek in a village called Dominion Grove. I have lived on this side for 3 years. Prior to that, we lived in the Mecklenburg County side of Highland Creek for 11 years, so you could say I know the neighborhood pretty well. Feel free to DM me as I can provide you lots of data.

I can't comment on the specific neighborhoods but IMO you can't go wrong there. Many of my stay at home mom friends live on both the Meck & CC side and they rave about it. Since I have little ones I think their facilities are especially great & they have something that I wish we had in our subdivision - sidewalks! GL!
