Lanxess, a German plastics manufacturer will be building a plant in Gastonia. Their plastics are used in the automotive industry, & SC was trying to get this.

They were/are Bayer. Hubby worked for Bayer in Pittsburgh when "Lanxess" was created.

Should be a good company to work for with decent pay and benefits.

Yes, I know. Bayer spun off a division which includes Lanxess, according to the article.

My father retired from Bayer a few years before they were allowed to reclaim using the name Bayer in this country, in the ag chem division. Bayer was an excellent company to work for. I would expect this to be the same.
