Hi
We are moving to Charlotte (Ballantyne area) this summer. We will be in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools and I will be enrolling my 3yr old into preschool. I have been searching for information on greatschools.org but it is easy to get lost. I have been comparing Greenway Park elementry and Windsor Park elementry.
Any advice would be much appreciated, its hard to know the area/schools just by the "score"

Thanks so much

Those schools are not considered to be in the Ballantyne area...I'm not sure if I read your post incorrectly, but if you are moving to Ballantyne I don't think those would be the elementary schools.

You are correct, Greenway Park and Windsor Park are in east Charlotte, nowhere near Ballantyne.

I hope she comes back to clarify - is she moving to East Charlotte or Ballantyne in the south end of the county?

I'm not aware of any elementary school having preschool for a 3 year old. Did I miss something?

Thank you for your responses, as you can tell i am totally confused with the Charlotte area, school districts etc. We are planning a trip to NC next week so hopefully it will help me figure out where things are.
I reviewed older posts on preschools/elementary schools in the Macklenburg county and that def gave me a better understanding which schools are more desirable over others.
