I might be relocating to charlotte in the next few months due to job. I will be working outside of charlotte, but would like to live in charlotte. I am single so I would be looking for a good part of the city that is safe, and fun. Any ideas on where to live or what apartments would be good?
Thanks

Which direction "outside of Charlotte" would you be working in?

Great, your commute will be against traffic if you live near uptown and work out that way
Since you are wanting to be more in the middle of things to do in Charlotte I suggest you check out the South End area (just south of uptown). It's trendy and along the light rail. Lots to do in the area and just a couple of minutes into uptown if you want to party there sometimes.
I would google places like Circle at South End and The Millennium South End.

I don't mind an easy commute, so I would say up to an hour. I figure charlotte would be a better place being single.

An hour will get you well into Charlotte. Am I correct in assuming that you'll be connected to a data center or the Duke Training Center? (Just wondering for location purposes, as Kings Mountain takes in a large area.) Those would be on the west side. There are some other locations that you might be connected to that would be on the east side. If you're on the west side, that would add about 5 minutes to the trip.
