How do you tie the 3 together? Easy, the same "expert who predicted success for the 1st 2 is now predicting success for the Garden Parkway.

Is that the same "expert" who predicts that the 77 north toll lane/carpool lane will be a success?

I don't know. Did you google his name? We've had numerous threads on these topics, but this gives the name of the person to blame.

Economists are never held to their predictions. it's got to be one of the best jobs in the world. Get paid by gubments and tax payer organizations to place some credibility on their pet projects. All you have to do is vomit up some spew, and get paid for it no less. The rest of the time you get tenure at a state university, getting state benefits, eating state subsidized food in the school cafeterias and in return, you spend a few hours a week saying whatever.

It's the reason the economy in the USA is so screwed up. When you hear that an "economist" said it, then you know it must be bad.
