Hi,
My wife and I will be visiting Charlotte in mid July and are looking for a rental house (3-4 bedroom) in S. Charlotte / Waxhaw / Weddinton area. I've looked online at the rental sites, but are ther other good sources for leads on rental houses? Any advice appreciated. Thx.

Try CarolinaHome.com | Find A Home and choose "Rentals"... you can then search by MLS area, zip code, price, etc. |

Hi....We are in the same process right now. We are from out of state and were down last weekend to look at rentals. We are using a realtor but also found a rental on our own just from driving around looking at developments we liked. We have applications in on 2. From what I understand though, realtors don't normally spend too much of their time showing rentals. They usually come up through property management companies. You could contact one of these companies (one that we are dealing with is T R Lawing). I searched on other internet sites as well (realtor.com, carolinahome, craigs list, etc.) but they all have the same homes. Just be prepared with your paperwork (letter of employment, income verification, background/credit checks). It is a bit of a process. Good luck with your search!
