I've noticed that they've been doing work inside the former Max & Erma's on Sam Furr Rd. (Huntersville). Does anyone happen to know what's going in there?

Also, there's a lot of work happening off of Mount Holly-Huntersville Road, near Northlake Mall, where they're pushing a road back from that road toward I-485. I don't recall reading about any proposed projects for that area yet.

The former Max and Erma's is being prepared to be the third Charlotte-area location of Taco Mac, which will be a great addition to the area if you're a fan of great beer.

No idea on the project near Northlake, though.

Yeah, there's never been any signage. I wonder if it's an NC DOT project, since the land on the other side of I-485 is being cleared as well.

Did not know Max and Irmas had gone under. That was a favorite when we lived up there.
