Can anyone give me info on this area? Good neighborhood? Family oriented? Good schools?

Hi Sal I believe it will be a beautiful neighborhood, but right now the only thing there is a sales center and the streets. There are no finished homes just yet. It is a very country-feeling area, meaning you will drive past the occasional trailer home to get to it - if that bothers you. Personally, I prefer that kind of country environment - it's not all sterile and Disney. Commute to uptown will be more convenient from here than most other new developments anywhere in the city. If you have time to wait for a home to be built I would say you should ride out an check out the area.

Hmmm I may have to send my mom and sis to look at it. I found a really nice house for rent over there.

Okay, let's make sure we are talking about the same place, lol. Are you referring to the new Vineyards development in the western part of the county on Lake Wylie?

My mistake, didn't see the "of North Charlotte" part! The Vineyards are in west Mecklenburg, the ones you are interested in are near the University area, sorry!
