I supplement my income by selling used name brand clothing on eBay. I scour the thrift stores, pick out clothing that is in only the best condition, clean it, press it, and sell it on eBay for a small profit. I usually shop at the Salvation Army on Wednesday when they have their 50% off sale, and at Value Village.
I'm looking for some alternative thrift stores. Can anyone recommend any others that have good prices ($2 - $3 per item), good quality, and that offer discounts? I'm willing to travel as far south as Columbia, SC; as far east as Greensboro, NC; and as far west as Asheville, NC.
I haven't been there, but my daughter and nieces love to go to a place called Mega Thrift in Winston Salem.
Do tell, Ill be going to Winston Salem about 6 more times this summer.
