I am curious as to why this is important. I am really not trying to start an argument or get anyone defensive, I just don't understand it when people ask this question.

Personally, I'm curious where people came from since there are so many transplants in Charlotte.
Also, because we like to self-recognize as the smart ones who got out of over-taxed Dodge and found a warm, welcoming new city where we are quite happy, thank you! |

Bklyn bred, now live in University City. I will admit that I picked this area on a whim, I haven't seen much of Charlotte besides the stadium area and the malls. So maybe in the future I will find a better neighborhood. I have no complaints with this one though.

Cornelius 2 years, Mooresville all the rest.
