'cause yankees have a natural urge to segregate. just look at their cities... all segregated by family place of origin, and if that doesn't convince you look at the threads they start, begging the locals for the location of each ethnic Burrough...

it's worth a chuckle... of course, we southern rednecks are the racists though.

Just another angry local whose neighbor sold the farm to a developer. Take a back seat Jethro as the transplants make Charlotte the 'world class city' YOU PEOPLE so desperately seek.

As a NYorker I dont disagree with you..but its more like.. we want to pay those cheap real estate prices and taxes but we really want it to be just like it was up here in the north.

Wow, such ignorance, misunderstanding, assumptions and hatred all rolled into one answer. You must be a joy to be around.

If I'm so off base, set me straight... I'm a fan of truth! I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that my comments are more truthful than yours... you wanna talk about assumptions and hatred, take a look at your own post!

Even other New Yorkers agree!

Well the part I agreed with is that Northeners tend to come here and want to make the South like the North. I just meant they want the cheap housing but dont really want the lifestyle. Generally speaking of course.

I didnt really even address the segregation part....I wasnt even sure what you meant by that. If you mean crime stays in certain areas in the north while here its everywhere then yes I agree. Never lived in a place where EVERYWHERE is free game for crime. Up north crime was abundant but it was abundant in the crime areas only.
