BTW--it' Boro or borough. Not one person that responded to this thread was from Manhattan, Queens or da Bronx, That might not mean a lot to most folk on board but "generally" when one says they come fro NY it doesn't mean you come from a town that borders Montreal.
Very rarely will you see a transplant from the 5 outer boros posting. Usually they will be from Nassau county (very hi taxes) or Suffolk county ( near our beaches and always bi#@$%*&^ bout "where is the beach?".
There are a whole host of demographic reason for this but for the moment I won't bore the forum with the reasons this is so.ie: why ppl. from the boros don't move to CLT.
