I feel the building shaking over at the Hertz Tower, on the 24th Floor. I'm not the only one who felt it.

Tried googling, but did not see any information yet.

Default Earthquake?

Just a few minutes I swear I felt trembling, thought it was an earthquake. I was on the first floor and felt a shake for about 10 seconds. My wife was on the 2nd floor and came to stairs to say same thing. We live in Matthews and i'm just curious if anyone else noticed something or maybe we are going crazy?

I did too! I'm in the Fifth Third Building ... I thought it was just us or work being done upstairs.

Just saw another post online about a possible tremor. Am researching it, too! I am in the mountains today and didn't feel anything up here. However, we heard a very strange sound about 15-20 minutes ago and the dog and I rushed outside to find out what it was. We thought someone was on our deck as there was movement, but no one was there. Don't know if that is coincidental or if the tremors may have affected us up here.

Should be interesting finding out this info, Queen Bee!

Edited to add: At the time I started this post, it was 2:01 - but when I finished it was 2:12 by my computer's clock. So that would make the "event" we "heard" right around 2:00 pm - so checking it out . . .

I'm in Denver and felt the tremor. I called my husband who's in Charlotte and he said he felt it too. It lasted about a minute or so. I was at the house and could feel it and then looked in my cup on my desk and saw the water moving, so I knew I wasn't imagining it...

According to the WSJ, there was a 5.8 quake that hit Virginia and could be felt in Washington, New York and North Carolina.

The para in the office said her daughter phoned from South Carolina and said that their pool water was moving.
