I have been using King Green this spring/summer to fertilize and control the weeds in my lawn. I know that I need to seed and aerate, but wanted to know if $400+ is a good price. I have a nice size lawn. (lot is .33 acre)

Does that price include the seed or just the labor?

I'm just wondering why questions are answered via private message? I would love to know if that is a good price as well, as I need to do the same.

I pay less than half of that for the fall weed/feed/seed and aerate, for the same size lot.

The best thing about selling my house? Not having to deal with trying to grow and tend a lawn in red clay anymore..........Just make sure you aerate FULLY preferably when the ground is wet or your efforts will be futile.

When I bought my home 11 years ago I was excited about yard work. That lasted about two months. Fortunately I can afford basic lawn care, so I just get to sit outside and enjoy the fruits of someone else's labors.

I was instructed to water my lawn heavily if it hasn't rained prior to my aeration date. That task falls within my skill set.

Good for you, I HATED taking care of that lawn only to watch it burn out by July 4th anyway unless I watered it all the time. Last year I hired a guy to aerate the lawn and the guy does it in dry weather!! I was like what in HELL are you doing!! Well no more for me... up north I will get a decent lawn IF I buy a house....and thats a big if..

I've got to figure out how big my front yard is, then I might PM you, I'm getting to the point of raising the white flag.
