Hi, I am an experienced professional - 7 years including big 4 experience. Also have my CPA and MBA. I thought I'd throw it out here to see what the market is like in the Charlotte area for accounting or internal audit. I'd be relocating from the midwest.

I know about looking at job postings on-line and working with recruiters and have begun doing that. I know the market isn't great now, but I have pretty good experience. I am interested in any other tidbits of info or advice that can be provided.

Thanks in advance.

I had an interview with Colliers International, they are recruiting for their real estate accounting department. They are trying to build it up to 25 employees, when I interviewed with them, they only had 4 people in the office about three weeks ago. All of the work which is worldwide will be situated in the Charlotte office. Good luck!

Interesting, I checked out their web site and didn't see anything specifically, but I can email them. Are you still considering the position?
