Another news report I saw tells this couple relocated to Union County from Huntington, NY. People have to realize they can't expect to get away with illegal activity down here. SMH
Unfortunately drugs and alcohol effect lots of people. It goes across all racial and social economic lines. You have to educate your kids and still be prudent and observe. I hate to say it but its everywhere.
I have often wondered (even out loud at times) why some people think these things are only in certain areas. In even poor or bad areas how do these poor thugs afford the drugs they sell? Or are they funded by a rich uncle or someone with some cash sitting around?
I digress but I dont think any of our law enforcement are winning the war on drugs, Too much money to be made. Even in this economy.
"Another"? I must have missed the first drug bust. When was that?
High quality, hydroponic. I hope it goes to good use. Don't waste that stuff
It's marijuana folks - the kids will always have access to it. We should be thankful it's not the serious heroin issues that parents are facing in the affluent areas all over the country. I've seen it first hand as a serious issue for areas on Long Island.
One day enough people will realize that marijuana is a potential gold mine for the governments who could tax and regulate the stink out of it and not have to pay related costs to catch and incarcerate non-violent offenders (which is the majority in our jails).
Two more people unemployed. Two more jobs lost due to the government. More tax payer money going to house these people in jail.
Do you consider selling drugs employment?

the other was the "non-violent" shooting involving Marvin Ridge teens in Hunter Oaks, nothing "serious", just a teen hospitalized with 3 gun shots and another possibly facing attempted murder charges.
