Moving to charlotte and I want to stay at Studio 6 Charlotte Airport
#6006
3420 Queen City Drive
I-85 at Billy Graham Parkway, Exit #33. Is this area good for a caucasion to be walking around at night or kinda risky? I wont have a car so will need to be near bus lines. Any help with this is appreciated. max budget is $520/ month.

No.
There are safer hostels in better areas of town. I would stay there , but it would be for about 3 or 4 hours , during the day. I don't know about you , but I don't have time for that BS prevalent over there. Ethnicity notwithstanding , persons across the spectrum have had their heads clapped over there , day and night.

There are a number of extended stay hotels in the area where Tyvola meets I-77. I stayed in that area when I first moved to town and I was fine.

No. Don't stay there. Stay in South Charlotte. If you need to stay around that area, the closest i would stay is the intersection of I 77 and Arrowood Rd. There's a good 5 or 6 hotels there in a mile strip. Hampton Inn, Four Point by Sheraton and other cheaper ones.

Ditto. Not a safe area.

I suspect there may be a campground just outside of town someplace, most have all facilities.

Barring camping , which would be penny pinching , but with its own set of dangers , you may want to inquire about being roommates with someone , or getting a small house. I saw some 1 bedroom houses in SW Charlotte for $425USD , monthly. The area is good , but the houses are small. Lookup Brown And Glenn Reality - Charlotte for details. Good luck!!

Based on your budget, you should fit in fine. Advice:
carry a very big Gun when strolling around the hood.
