Again, I think that the fly in the ointment here is that Mr Agnew yelled racism. Had he turned his hat around, walked out on his own & thought, to himself that it was racist, then come up with his black card idea, no one would look at it & think anything other than OK, good luck. However, he yelled racism & then decided to do something that was aimed at black businesses & not at minority businesses in general.

if Agnew stayed silent and came up with this idea no one would have cared... but it probably wouldn't have made the news or had a fraction of the pub it is going to get due to the epicenter ordeal.
I never said Oprah and Cosby were born with silver spoons... You could have Warren Buffet or any white celebrity who came from a poor household and the outcome would be the same. Ball players, celebrities etc... these people are rare and the chances of being that successful are slim to none. The local doctor, teacher, small business owner.. those are the people who will impact kids in poverty the most.
The Cosby situation.. while a agree with everything he said, the way he said it didn't put him in a good light. He was angry... and if you knew about Bill Cosby's sexual assault accusations at the time you wouldn't take his words or anger seriously.
