Grover sits on the border, just south of Kings Mountain. When you drive south on I 85, Exit 106, with the gas stations & obligatory fireworks is the SC side of Grover. The NC side is incorporated, but the SC side is unincorporated.

It's not far out at all, Ani, but you know people won't drive out from Charlotte. I think that they think they'll get cooties if they come west of Charlotte.
Grover is very small & they don't do very many activities. This is the 1st year for the pumpkin festival. I'm hoping to have found some kind of job by then, but if I haven't, I'll have to try to get there.
We went over there on Sunday! $7 per person for a hayride, petting zoo, a pick-your-own pumpkin (one per person) from the patch and all the apple cider you wish to drink.
