I swear, the gusts of wind during the thunderstorms we had last night were the most violent I've seen in a long, long, time. They had to be near 60-70mph easy. (no exaggeration). Several trees down in my neighborhood.

The kids woke up and were afraid, but it was pretty cool...

Pretty much all of Wesley Chapel area was in the dark, homes, street lights, etc. The power finally came back on around 4am or so(went out at around 9pm). I saw my neighbors trampoline go flying by! He still can't find it

A tree was uprooted in our back yard, our umbrella is smashed in a million pieces and our patio table shattered too...that was one wicked storm!

I was standing on the front porch drinking a glass of wine watching it and all of a sudden the trees all bent in half it was coming down so hard and a chir flew by my house! I went back inside. lol. My dog is still recovering, poor thing.

Same here Miker, my barbeque which was on my patio was blown off and tipped over almost completly upside down six feet from my patio with the propane tank wedged under it and exposed to all that lovely lightning!

That is onething here we get some wicked lightning storms, not seen that much in the way of wind, I am over Steele Creek and we had hardly any wind, it sounds like Waxhaw and surrounding area got the brunt of it last night.
