I'll admit, as a homebuyer looking at Point in Mooresville, the trump thing has created alot of uncertainty. My question being...if I don't care about golf and I pay the same for my home there as I would anywhere else in Matthews/Waxhaw, why should I care if Trump buys it?

-love the low taxes & wide open spaces.

-wont pay any more for a house than in waxhaw or Matthews. probably quite a bit less for the same house.

-dues are hefty but not bad considering the value received (been in comm pools/hoas for a while). balanced by tax benefit in my opinion.

-can get a nice custom home with a good sizeable lot.

the kicker may be that I don't give a rip about golf. I guess if trump bulldozes the course it's no worse off than the farms or another nice inland community.

thoughts appreciated.
