I need to find an air duct cleaning service to clean out my ducts.

I checked angies list but didn't get a lot of info from them. Any one have any recommendations they can share? I'm located in Madison Park, if location matters.

Also, I'm looking at getting about 9 ducts cleaned and 1 intake. Relatively small house... if anyone had something similar done, I'd love to hear the proce range to expect. Seems like the more research I do the wider the range of prices I find.

Thanks in advance for the help,

Find someone that has done it for years and is licensed. You want to make sure that they don't harm the duck work and do a thorough job. There are fly-by-night people that do this sort of work and what they say that they will charge you initially will not be what you pay. I can't recommend anyone as a friend volunteered to do mine when I moved into my house, but get someone that has been in operation in this area for years, and geat a list of what they will do and their total price. I know a couple of neighbors that were screwed by fly-by-night companies.

Assuming there is some genuine reason to do the work...
(these reasons do exist but are a lot fewer than the sales literature might suggest)...
then stick with the HVAC service company you otherwise trust and rely on to either do it or recommend someone else.

the reason I have for wanting it done is that we did some construction in our house and didn't think to cover the vents. So there is a good bit of dust and such in the ducts from the construction work.
