I can personally vouch for how much of a group of scumbags the "fine" folks at Harrelson Nissan are. They attempted to try to sell my wife her car for more than what they were advertising for, and when we called them out on it, they acted like they were doing us a huge favor by begrudgingly agreeing to the advertised price, and not a penny less. They also continuously screwed up paperwork, and generally turned what my wife was hoping would be an exciting experience (buying her first nice car), into a complete nightmare and major headache. Avoid them like the plague.

Honestly, I don't think you can single out Harrelson Nissan regarding buying a car at a dealer.
I feel comfortable making the blanket statement that all dealers want to get top dollar for their cars.
They probably figured that since she was female and didn't do her homework in terms of how much she wanted to buy the car (which by your post that's what it seems). they could take advantage of her. That is no different than any other dealership IMO.
I think Queen City Appliance needs to take notice. People are going to confuse their company with Queen City Appliance Repair and I don't believe they are one in the same.
In general, I do not trust the BBB because they are funded by the companies they rate. Up until 2010 they would openly give points to businesses who paid the BBB money.
"This year, there are only nine businesses on the BBB’s Dirty Dozen list,” said BBB President Tom Bartholomy, “because we are not including companies that have gone out of business.”

I agree that's a black mark but they seem to be open on their methodology for this list.
