Hello, first time posting. I'm moving to Charlotte in November and i'm looking for some decent pubs with premiership matches/ rugby e.t.c.
Any help would be gladly recieved.

Do yourself a fovor and get either DirecTV or dish and get the Fox soccer Channel and the Sentanta Sports. If your a die hard like myself this is the best coverage you can get.

I agree. We do have several pubs here, but I know the owner of one of them and he has to put on the American football and basketball games to please the masses. You'll get better coverage if you get a dish for sure!

Big Ben's is terrible. Ever since the World cup I refuse to go back there.

Is there anywhere in town to buy English grub (i.e bisto, HP sauce etc..)since Kathy's place closed?

Also, I heard there is a Celtic FC supporters club in town that has access to games. Any truth to that?

World Market sells foods from several different countries. You may want to check them out. I think the South African store on Independence has some English items, but you might want to call them first.

The south african store in matthews has some crisps, bisto , cadburys Back bacon etc.

Depends on what you are looking for as I have found some stuff in surprising places
