I am looking to rent in the Charlotte area come April and need some insight as to what areas are good to rent from. I am looking to stay near the South Charlotte/Matthews area. I have 2 dogs who weigh about 50lbs each and am looking for either a 1 or 2 bedroom. Would prefer to spend less than $650 for rent with NO monthly pet rent. Obviously a low pet deposit would be nice and a lower monthly rental fee would be fantastic.

I've never been to Charlotte so it is hard for me to know the areas, although I have someone helping me out as much as they can. But if any of you could give me some insight or advice, I'd appreciate it.

I don't think you'll find a 2 bedroom in that price range. Their are many apartment rentals in Matthews, 1 bedrooms run in the 700s.

Check out apartments.com.
