Does anyone have an opinion to share about the restaurant "City Tavern"?

Which one?

The one on East Blvd. used to be the happening spot but kind of went down hill about 2 years ago.

I haven't been there in a while so it might have changed since then.

We have gone to the one in Stonecrest a few times and the food was good...it always seems to be crowded...especially the bar area.

Would agree with that was there on Sunday.

I have gone several times and never had any complaints the food has always been good, at stonecrest the service can be a little iffy.

Look in theclipper magazine usually coupons that are worthwile.

Had lunch several times uptown and that was good as well.

It was OK when we went there. If you go and you are a United Airlines member make sure to register at United Mileage Dining. City Tavern is part of their program so you can get miles for eating there.

My wife loved the mac and cheese.

OP must be one of the owners. Kind of a vague question. Nevertheless, I have brunch there twice a month on East Blvd and will be there this Sunday as well! Not bad, but I no longer get anything "benedict" because it is always cold, but that is true most places I brunch-- it's a hard dish to do right.

The one in Cornelius is now gone. Can't say I'll really miss it much.

WAAAAAAY overpriced for the quality of food (most of the food does not have much flavor to it). Occasionally my gf and I will eat at the one in Stonecrest if we have a coupon and we are going to the movies. They really need to get off the "one of the top 25 restaurants under $25" thing. They claimed that when I moved here 6 years ago. We have eaten at the one on 160 and 49 twice too and it was ok (again w/copuns. No way I would pay full price for what you get there). We also jokingly call it something else...think of that episode of South Park with "City Wok."
