I have a fetish for tall buildings.. lol. I know Charlotte has Uptown and South Park, but other than that...does Charlotte have any other moderately tall buildings in or around the city??
If so, please tell me where and/or post pics PLEASE!!!

There is the Independence Tower just past Sharon Amity on Independence Boulevard.

In University (Harris and N. Tryon) the Hilton Hotel is something like 15 stories.

Also in that area, the UNCC library is 10 stories or so and some of their older dorm buildings are 11 stories. Strangely enough, the dorms' elevators only go to the 10th floor. Those on the 11th have to walk up the last flight.

There's also this condo building and a few others like it in Myers Park at Queens and Providence

I work in one in Ballantyne that looks like the one shown above. The one I work in is basically empty as are the ones around us and yet they keep building new ones. Not sure why.

Speaking of fetishes, there is the old Jim and Tammy Bakker's Heritage Tower. It comes with many "stories" as well.

Well, I posted a few. I guess it depends on what you consider moderately tall. If the OP thinks the buildings in Southpark are tall (I can't think of any over 10 stories), then there are certainly other 10+ story buildings in other parts of town.

No I dont think they are "TALL" per se. But I'd say MODERATELY TALL. If it pokes out in the air from the normal city landscape, then id consider it "moderately tall".
So if theyre are OTHER 10+ stories buildings, please tell me WHERE, or post pics.

I can't think of many others other than the ones posted so far.

The hotel at I-77/Tyvola Rd is probably 18 floors or so.
