The present competition in Harrisburg is Food Lion #2214, Harrisburg Market, 4226 Highway 49 South, Harrisburg, North Carolina 28075-7526; and Lowe's Foods #210, School House Commons, 4445 Highway 49 South, Harrisburg, North Carolina 28075-7528.

Publix #1490, locating at Willow Oaks Crossing in Concord, is projected to open in late 2015. Construction on the 49,098 square feet store and retail center should begin in December.
Uh oh, past their 2014 goal haha. They must have just posted that today as I checked yesterday. Drove past there yesterday and looks like they were making a lot of progress on the surrounding buildings as well and have some other tenants lined up.
Publix #1474, locating at Magnolia Plaza, 8313 Magnolia Estates Drive, Cornelius, North Carolina 28031-7837, was issued a pharmacy permit from the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy this past week.
Publix has been holding an application event adjacent to Publix #1481, Market Square, 9815 Rose Commons Drive, Huntersville, North Carolina 28078-3334. The event ends today.
No date has been set for Publix #1474's opening. I wonder if it could open by late January.
