Backlash over North Carolina’s marriage vote
Backlash over North Carolina

Praise Jesus!
.........and you thought they just would not ever stop coming here from everywhere. Maybe we can get an ammendment mandating Capital Punishment and keep the rest of them out.
Them. You know them. Them!
Them one's that add bodies to our population, but no substance of merit.
Them one's that stand up for everything, but add nothing.
Them one's that bring their drugs, their jobless friends and relatives, even their starving pets.
Them one's that come to Charlotte because they can, not because they are asked.
Them one's that enjoy the fruits of our labor.

We used to just "redneck it up" around people who wanted to come here from there. They caught on to us.
Now all we have to do is do the right thing.
I love it.

You do realize that was a tourism website. These people would be bringing nothing but money to our state.

And what the heck does "them one's" mean?

If "Them one's" don't care about all these other things why would they care about gay rights?

In other-words you are saying Praise Jesus because innocent children and women abused by men will suffer, even die due to lack of health care and loss of protection from domestic violence, and your god and his illegitimate spawn Jesus just love it when children and the weak suffer.

There is nothing wrong with trying to discuss the topic, but nobody on any thread I've seen seems to be doing just that. I mean look at the nasty stuff just on this short thread.

If there could be a thread to actually discuss the topic I'd love to participate. But I'm avoiding them all so I don't get any poo slung in my direction and because I do not appreciate seeing the name of Jesus defiled with such hate. Jesus is all about the love people.

If people are going to keep bringing his name up then it seems to me this thread should be moved to the religion forum. Just sayin'...

And hence why religion and politics should not mix.

I've gone into them, said what was on my mind, & went out of my way to speak kindly to the pro-amendment people. When they get ugly to me, I call them on it & remind them of how I treated them.
