dude is a tackling machine... the only problem is a lot of the tackles were 5 yards down field. I wonder if the Panthers are thinking about switching to the 3-4?

Safe pick. I personally would have preferred Gilmore but I think Luke will be a great player and we needed some protection if T Davis can't get it together and/or Beason comes back slow.
I like Keulchy, but I'm surprised they picked him ahead of Gilmore, Poe, Cox, Brockers, Coples, and Kirkpatrick. There are still a few decent DB's out there. We gotta get a one tonight.
I really like this pick. The kid is a smart, hard nosed player. Type of guy I think the fans will love as well as being very productive on the field. If the Panthers can get some health on the frontline I dont think the need there was as desperate as LB although they do need secondary help still. Hopefully they can address that tonight.
Luke is probably one of the best pure football players in the draft, hard to discount that or go wrong with it on your team. The best DB was already off the board and while Gilmore was there I still like this pick over him and adding the CB later, which they did. If you put Davis, Beason and Luke on the field at the same time you've got a heck of a group there.
Hopefully the frontline is healthy this year and can get a push on the line and not make the secondary cover for as long as they did last year at times.
Not a huge fan of the Panther's draft overall though.
