Physical Therapist (Charlotte, Earl, Norman: job market, salary, move)

Checking to see if anyone here has any information on the P.T. job market in Charlotte - job availability, salary, etc. My husband has a possible job opportunity there that would move us there in about a year. I am researching, of course. Just checking if anyone here has any specific information.

Hi, I am Carolina Guy's wife, I am a Speech Therapist and work in Early Intervention. There is a desperate need for PT's in the early intervention population. I know Early Intervention is not for everyone, but the one PT I work with on a regular basis has 52 visits on her caseload currently. I have also worked in a Nursing home, as with most allied health professions, there is always the need for any therapist. If he would prefer a more clinical position he can check out CMC, Presbyterian, or Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. I hope this helps

Thanks for the info - the PT job would be for me. My husband would already have a job if we moved there. I have worked outpatient orthopedics, womens health, nursing home, and currently with workers comp patients. I am hoping to find a job in general outpatient orthopedics or working with the workers comp population. Thanks for the above information!
