Saw this in CL and most every one of these have been discussed/recommended here on CD.
Pesonally, reading some of the highlights made me laugh and I said, I agree. Some I thought were a bit harsh.

Discuss.

BTW Merry Christmas.
edit:watch the sexy Santa video. I didn't get to see that in the printed paper. hahaaa

Every year we go to McAdenville, and we also see the Bernstein Bears. My kids love it. We also go to Daniel Stowe's Botanical gardens every year....and the Nutcracker...so I guess we'd be considered cheesy

Love the Nutcracker every year, even before moving to Charlotte. Sometimes 2x for the season.
McAdenville was more of a been there done that for us.
Southern Christmas show is more of a friends want to go deal, but also a been there done that.
I'm happy with the addition of the "ice rink", provided there's a chill in the air, but the irony in that is, I'm a "Yankee" who moved here to escape that weather.

+1 NCbound for being cheesy. CL seems to not like much these days except for the "spa's" on the back pages that advertise with them. Talk about cheesy.

Very funny link. I like to go down to Founders hall during the day and watching the look of horror on half of the kids' faces every hour when those bears start moving and singing. Priceless! The other half look bored. Weren't they supposed to be retired a few years ago?

Speaking of holiday attractions (cheeseless) Trans-Siberian Orchestra was AMAZING here in Charlotte with "the lost Christmas eve tour". I could see this a few times for the season as well or any time. Except, they only had one Charlotte show.
