Schwarzenegger had a whole lot more to lose than MJ ever would, as far as public acknowledgement of an affair or "love child." His wife's personal popularity and Kennedy connection, plus his political career, would make it seem very unlikely that he would ever stray, much less get someone pregnant.
Professional athletes are a totally different situation . . . some of them even like to have the reputation of being so "sought after." Getting someone preggers isn't going to have the effect on a professinal athlete's career that it would on ANY politician's career.

What? MJ is a global brand... in the 90's he was the most popular athlete in the world. MJ was asked if he was a democrat and he refused to answer because he said republicans buy shoes too. IMO MJ had just as much if not more to lose than Arnold.
What did Schwarzenegger really have to lose? Governing Cali? I think he wanted out of that job the day after he won and had a chance to look at the books.
Politicians, just like athletes... are the king of affairs, love childs and scandal.
