I was wondering how crime was in southwest Charlotte (outside the 485 loop) compared to Huntersville/Cornelius. Is there much of a difference?

I am going to be relocating to the Charlotte area and trying to decide which would be better (I would be working about halfway between these two areas). If anyone has any information/opinions on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mind if I ask specifically the area you will be working in? I might be better able to make a suggestion on where you should consider looking.

As far as crime stats, log on to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Dept website and read up on any area you are interested in.

Iam interested to know the answer to that question as well, because I have purchased my house there as well. I believe this area is much closer to the city limits of charlotte, alittle more then the Huntersville area. It is outside the loop though
