If so, did it work out in the time frame that you wanted. My husband and I are married two months and are anxiously waiting to leave Long Island. We both grew up here. I am 38 & he is 47. My husband works in retail and the store that he works in has 3 stores in the Charlotte area. We are just waiting for an opening in Management to become available. We know this is the right move for us and we both have wanted to leave Long Island for a long time. We have visited Charlotte a few times and love it. Coincidentally, both of our best friends have moved to Union County within the last few months. It is just so hard right now, because our life is on hold until he gets this transfer. I really don't want him to leave this company because of their excellent medical plan.
