As a newcomer to the area, July, i would love to ban the repeating of commercials during the same commercial break. The most offensive are the ones that are repeated back to back, namely BROTHERS.
we should just make a list of everything that bugs us to Ban from NC, specifically Charlotte. You know, bad drivers, mean people, sagging pants, non-charlotteans, whistling, kids whining, rain, cold weather, spiders, gasoline driven cars, etc etc.
I'm just kidding of course. I really just wanted to say that I'm happy that most of the regular posters on the charlotte forum are so nice and helpful. Ever since day one those people have given me so much info and good conversation. I think we have one of the best forums on City-Data, and a special thanks goes to having such a good moderator as Sunny. Hip Hip HOORAYYY haha. Loves also deserves some credit and I know I'm forgetting a lot of people but I just wanted to say....THANKSS
Don't forget snakes! What about banning the word sharon?
Please ban the little girl and her daddy car commercials that no one can understand and the Yankee cheer wine commercial

haha its so funny that you both say that. When we first moved here, and that little annoying girl came on me and my gf cringed...THEN 1 minute later they played the exact same commercial again!!! Then in the same 3 hours of tv watching they played it 3 more times, each time twice in the same commercial break!! Thats the first time I've ever wanted to kick a child in their face, talk about whiney whiney whiney!
I am from an area that banned smoking in ALL public buildings as well as a 50 ft. no smoking perimeter around all public buildings. I cannot go to a mall or a restaurant here because of smoking. I cannot breathe.
And please don't tell me about "NO SMOKING" sections. A "no smoking section" in a restaurant is like having a "no peeing section" in a pool.......
It is actually against the NC Constitution to ban smoking in public places. Last year Mecklenburg County tried to get an exception to this, but was denied.
can people smoke in the office setting? I have been in SoCal for so long that smoke means wildfire....not that that is preferable whatsoever. I just never thought you could smoke in business in CLT. I am moving as soon as I can sell my place. Can't wait
Three things to ban: days above 90 degrees, ozone, and right hand traffic lanes that suddenly turn into "Right Turn Only" lanes.
