The link is to a thread in the Atlanta forum, where it seems as if the Hall of Fame was simply built in Atlanta, none of this would have ever happened. 
I really don't see why the idea for a NASCAR museum in Uptown Charlotte was approved anyways. If they expected these attendance and money figures, it should have been built at the Speedway.

I think that if Charlotte was all about NASCAR then it would do better. It's like going to Boston for a Country Music Festival; when you think of that you think to go to Nashville, TN because the city breaths country music. Charlotte is not everything NASCAR. I'm not saying I want it to be; just saying for example: someone in California; they know where country music's home is and their not thinking Charlotte when someone mentions NASCAR.
