I've been offered a position with one of the financial institutions head-quartered in Charlotte. I plan to come for a visit this weekend. What areas of town should I look to live? I want to be close to work( I don't know the exact address as yet). I also want to be near dining, nightlife, shopping, etc. My budget is between $1300-$1500 per month 2 or 3 bedroom condo or townhouse.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Also, things to do in the city over the weekend....
With your budget and requirements, look for places in Uptown. There are many places within walking distance to the locations of the big 2 financial companies in Charlotte.
Thanks for the suggestions! Im in Charlotte now. What fun things are going on? Music etc? Im riding thru "NoDa" and I dont see many people out and about. What time do things get "jumping"?

Thanks again for all of your suggestions. I found that I will be working on W. WT Harris Blvd. I was able to find a place in the university area close to work.

I would look around Highland Creek, Concord or Harrisburg.
